Four Powerful Words

Beloved Bible

Psalm 32:8, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”

Please notice the four powerful words—verbs—of this beautiful verse.  Each verb is God’s promise to you.

“Instruct.”  The Lord promises to inform us of the laws of success he established.  By imparting this knowledge he empowers us to live for his pleasure which guarantees our success.

“Teach.”  God loves communicating with us.  In fact, he made us for that purpose.  Love wants to share with the loved one and be noticed by the loved one.  So, this verse promises that God will tell you his will and make you familiar with his ways so you can walk in his paths.

“Counsel.”  God knows our tendency to turn aside from his Words and his will.  Therefore, he lovingly exhorts us to keep on the straight and narrow.  He warns us when thoughts of turning to the right or left enter our minds.  As we submit to his counsel, we experience his victories!

“Watch Over.”  God misses nothing.  He’s always awake and never sleeps.  From the smallest particle to the mightiest galaxy, he knows everything about us and alertly protects us from ourselves and Satan.  His vigilance guarantees our safety.  Our confidence in his unwavering attentiveness makes us bold and stouthearted.

I believe God intends for you to be a winner!
