All of us swim in a sea of news. Television and radio broadcasts, newspapers and magazines, as well as talk among friends saturate us with the latest news of events from around the world. Jesus predicted that in the time just before his return, many people would drown in the flood of terrifying bad news.
But for his children, there is an alternative. We can survive this powerful torrent of gloom and doom news.

The Bible predicts plenty of unpleasantness, but for God’s children and Jesus’ church, his Word predicts victory. Yes, last day unpleasantness affects Christians, but God fills us with joy, peace, and power.
“Blessed is the man who…finds great delight in His (God’s) commands. He will have no fear of bad news” Psalm 112:1.
“Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble,” Psalm 119:165
